Everyone loves chocolate. We grow up trying to have as much of it as we can, whether in blocks, biscuits, ice creams or drinks. It's such as obsession that for many (adults as well as children) chocolate has replaced religion as the focus of Easter. But somewhere along the way, as with most serious sensual pursuits, we start craving quality, not just quantity.
Pierre Stinzy, a French Chef brought to Australia to lead the kitchens of Melbourne's fames Miettas for more than three years, initially only dabbled in chocolate, occasionally making truffles to give to his friends as tokens of friendship and affection. But once tasted, these rich, dark delights are not easily forgotten and demand for more started to grow.
But one man, along with other commitments, couldn't satisfy this demand for very long. It takes passion, dedication and stamina so, Pierre became The Chocolate Lover.
